About Sousse

Sousse, one of the first tourist centres in the country, is Located 140 kilometres (87 miles) south of the capital Tunis, on the Gulf of Hammamet, which is a part of the Mediterranean Sea. Sousse still keeps all its charm thanks to its privileged climate, to the vegetation of its exuberant gardens, to its beaches of sand and to the quality of its hotel facilities. Go down into the streets of the Medina, surrounded by imposing walls that shelter the teeming bazaars, and, from the same fortification, admire the beautiful views of the city and the sea.  Sousse is known for its Port El Kantaoui,  which is a world-class port that can accommodate 300 boats of all categories on a lake of 4 hectares.
